Soulstice Weekend Retreat

In 2026 we welcome men to our second annual Resonant Man Summer Retreat: Soulstice.

Building on 2025, we’ll be holding an even bigger retreat. Deeper ritual, rambunctious fun, wisdom carriers, philosophers, storytellers, delicious food, and opportunities to step in together as men and connect with the land.

ORGANISER, FACILITATOR
Co-Founder of the Resonant Man. Jacob brings a deep sensibility for the ritual of gathering together as man. Supporting Soulstice to go beyond everyday consciousness and into a space of initiation and deep remembering.
He brings a growing roster of facilitation exprience from Festivals, Conferences as well as Spanish language work in México. Jacob helps to Soulstice forge a powerful address of masculinity that we carry out into the world.

Prof. Cadell Last

THINKING MASCULINITY TODAY
Cadell Last is the Founder of Philosophy Portal, and was our inaugral philosopher at last year’s retreat.
This year he will offer ‘Philosophy under the tree’ helping us to think through what it means to be a man in the world as it is.

Josh is a leader in the Bristol Ecstatic Dance scene who has played on stages across the U.K. He will be bringing live music and a powerful musical journey to the retreat weekend.
Stephen Winter

THE WISDOM OF THE LORD OF THE RINGS
Stephen Winter has authored ‘The Wisdom of The Lord of The Rings’ publication for over 13 years. He is a passionate voice for the wisdom of Tolkien’s fellowship as guidance for living courageously in the world today.
Stephen served as a priest in the Church of England in Worcestershire and advocates T.S. Elliot’s famous line ‘Old Men Ought to Be Explorers’.

Mahon McCann

MARTIAL ARTS EXPERT, PHILOSOPHER
Mahon McCann is a podcaster, PhD candidate, playwright and advanced Martial Arts practicioner.
He will be bringing the Wisdom of Combat to bear during the weekend in a new workshop.
He is currently completing his PhD, and delivering a course synthesising insight from John Vervaeke’s awakening from the Meaning Crisis series and Plato’s the Republic.
